Nick Hornick is a Sr. Manager in Mandiant’s Los Angeles office and has over 10 years of experience in computer and information security. Nick has held leadership positions within IT services and incident response organizations, and is currently responsible for Mandiant’s regional growth. Nick specializes in cyber-attack methods and countermeasures, computer forensics and incident response.
Prior to joining Mandiant, Nick was an Information Systems Security Engineer for Concurrent Technologies Corporation. In this position, he was a member of the internal CIRT, which handled computer incidents ranging from Human Resource violations to nation-state sponsored attacks. Nick also acted as the lead in developing network segmentation, development of policies and configuration to enforce host-based hardening.
